URBAN ARTIST RICH SIMMONS ‘PUNK TRIBUTE’ TO PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE MIDDLETON
Legende Celebrity Art’s Rich Simmons (photographed with his tribute to HRH Prince Charles last April with founder of Legende Celebrity Art Richard Evans and the worlds number one Marilyn Monroe impersonator Suzie Kennedy) has created a spectacular tribute to Prince William and his Fiancee Kate Middleton. The work took Simmons 50 hours to create stencils alone and the the task of applying the art on to the wall took another few hours. Rich’s inspiration came from the 1970s photograph of the Sex Pistols’ Sid Vicious and girlfriend Nancy Reid produced by the british artist and anarchist Jamie Reid who defined the image of Punk Rock in the UK.
The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is taking place April 29th and has been made a public holiday in the UK.

UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON HOSPITALS new Cancer Department are to benefit from the sale of highly desirable art pieces (Tuesday 1st February 2011) including original artwork of celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Elton John, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, David Bowie, Rod Stewart , including genuine and unique F1 Sporting Memorabilia (Legende Sports Art) and introducing the very first Legende Heritage product which is a tribute to those that served in the Battle of Britain.
95% of the works are collectors art pieces by photographers Terry O’Neill, Douglas Kirkland, Gered Mankowitz, Danny Clifford and painters Barry Novis, Laura Lian, Rich Simmons and Lindsey Bex many of which are limited edition works.
15 celebrities have confirmed attendance already and more are likely to join this exclusive event in aid of charity.

SINGER ADAM ANT SINGS PRAISES TO LEGENDE CELEBRITY ART
Singer Adam Ant attended a private preview of Legende Celebrity Art and Art of Giving at the Shepherd Market ‘Pop Up’ Art Gallery on Thursday evening. Marc Cox from Legende spoke with Adam throughout the evening about Art, his collection and particular interest in the works by Urban Artist Rich Simmons commissioned by Richard Evans here at Legende Celebrity Art. Richard Evans said “we are honoured that Adam loves our work so much, as my childhood hero this is very welcoming news and has brought a huge smile to my face and many very good memories of those days!”
The event was marketed throughout London and via Facebook advertising. Legende and Art of Giving joined forces in a collaboration of Art for a one month period which closed on Friday. Plans are in place to open another ‘Pop Up’ Art Gallery sometime in March or April 2011. Earlier in the year Legende presented an exhibition with Rich Simmons at Gallery Rouge in St Albans which proved to be a sell out.
A private viewing of Legende’s work including Rich Simmons shall be presented to Adam Ant shortly.

A new specialist cancer division to be built at UCLH will benefit from the proceeds of an art and memorabilia auction hosted by Legende Celebrity Art Tuesday 1st February 2011 7.30pm -10pm at London’s Premier Night Club Whisky Mist.
Legende Celebrity Art will be launching a new range of memorabilia to coincide with the launch of several micro web sites including Legende Heritage Art and Legende Sports Art.
