Iv’e just returned from an amazing trip to South Africa and it brought back memories of my time spent with the ANC in the early 1990′s. With these memories fresh in mind I am pleased to present a portfolio of photographs by taken the legendary Terry O’Neill of Nelson Mandela including photographs with the British Super Model Naomi Campbell.

As a keen supporter of the Anti-Apartheid Movement and the ANC in the early 1990′s I was asked to meet the UK representive in London to discuss a unique opportunity that couldnt be missed. They asked if I could possibly arrange the sponsorship for Nelson Mandela’s first welcome party to London. At that time my ANC contacts included the son of Donald Woods the policital Anti-Apartheid activist and various staff at the South African Commission. I swiftly arranged support from our former company Centurion Press and the Trades Union GMB. Everybody who was anybody at the time in the early 1990′s attended including Richard Branson, (who was so very keen to get flights in to South Africa!) policticians, actors, comedians such as Harry Enfield. It was the most high profile event we have ever been involved with and a huge privilege.
