HISTORY AND ART – IN A BOX – TERRY O’NEILL PHOTO BOX SETS AVAILABLE AT LEGENDE CELEBRITY ART

The legendary British photographer Terry O’Neill who has photographed the frontline of fame for more than six decades has produced a unique collection of boxed sets of his most iconic subjects. Brigitte Bardot, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn and The Rolling Stones.

Sinatra: Night & Day is a rare collection of 17 vintage press prints here available at Legende Celebrity Art. There are only two sets of the original 10 x 12 silver gelatin publicity prints. Each has been signed and editioned by the artist. They are ready for framing in acid-free archival mounts and displayed in a hand-made clamshell box. Sinatra: Night & Day is a visual piece of history. Telling the story of Sinatra’s work on the set of The Lady In Cement in Miami Beach with Raquel Welch in 1968 by day – and in cabaret at the Fontainebleu at night. The boxed set comes complete with a certeficate of authentication signed by O’Neill, which tells the story behind the photographs. The box contains O’Neill’s most iconic shot of sinatra – his first – as the star walked down the boardwalk to the movie set to start shooting. O’Neill had a letter of introduction from the ex- Mrs Sinatra, Ava Gardner and handed it to the chairman who read it and turned to his studio security and told them « This kid’s with me.» It was the start of a 35 year friendship.

Brigitte Bardot: a boxed set of O’Neill’s favourite portraits and candid studies of the alluring French actress. There are 15 photographs hand printed on 10 x 12 archival silver gelatin paper in a limited edition of only 25 boxed sets. Each photograph is signed and numbered by the artist and is boxed in a handmade clamshell box with a certificate of authentication. O’Neill photographed Bardot many times in the 60s and 70s including her first informal meeting with Sean connery prior to filming Shalako. It include’s O’Neill’s now famous windswept shot of Bardot as a cowgirl from the film, The Legend Of Frenchie King.

Other boxed sets include Audrey Hepburn; The Rolling Stones: 1963 – Their First Year; a special edition of James Bond (Connery, Moore, Niven, Lazenby and Brosnan) and another of The Bond Girls to celebrate the 50th anniversary of 007 in 2012, will be released in limited editions of 25 boxed sets of signed and numbered 10×12 silver gelatin prints.

TERRY O’NEILL PRODUCTS AT MARKS AND SPENCERS

The legendary British Celebrity Photographer Terry O’Neill has launched his very own range of products at the famous British retailer Marks and Spencer’s. O’Neill is one of the world’s most accomplished and collected photographers whose work hangs in national galleries and private collections worldwide. For more than 50 years his camera has chronicled the frontline of fame, in particular the emerging rock stars and icons of the 60s. He photographed The Beatles and The Rolling Stones when they were still struggling young bands seeking a recording contract in London’s clubs and pubs. O’Neill worked closely too with Frank Sinatra for over 30 years, being granted access to the chairman back stage and in private. Now in his 70s, O’Neill continues to work with and remains the photographer of choice for many household names today such as Sir Michael Caine and Eric Clapton.

Born May 23rd 1972 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Rubens Barrichello has scored the fifth highest points total in Formula One history. From 2000-2005 he drove for Ferrari as Michael Schumacher’s teammate finishing as a championship runner-up in 2002 and 2004. Since Schumacher’s retirement at the end of 2006 has made Barrichello the most experienced driver on the grid. In August 2005 he confirmed he was leaving Ferrari and from 2006-2008 he drove for Honda. He was then confirmed as a driver for the new Brawn GP team for 2009. As of the 2009 Formula One season Barrichello is the only driver left competing in Formula One to compete against Formula One legends Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.
